Country Park

The 8 acre country park is so much more. As an arboretum it has a mile of meandering grass walks, some 20 species of English hardwood trees plus wild fenland willow, some 2,500 trees in total. Wild flowers abound varying as spring turns to autumn. As a conservation area it has an abundance of wild life, is a site adopted by the British Trust for Ornithology & is home to Donkeys; Murphy & Poppy, Jacobs Rams, Jason & Mark.

Farm Shop

Our Butchers, Bakers & Delicatessen farm shop opened on March 17th 2011. Our British Shorthorn Beef is reared by our "associate" Patrick Mews at Crowtree House Farm, Spalding Marsh hung for 3 weeks & butchered at the Thatch. Lamb & Pork are reared in Lincolnshire & supplied in whole carcase by A Wright & Sons of Boston. We bake our own bread daily, cure all our own Pork products and chef makes all the confectionery deli produce
